Anime - Afro Samurai Released - Episode 1

The first episode of Afro Samurai has been released.

With the high b1unt count and the language I figured it made sense to put an age requirement on the site, but the violence is worthy too.

Evaluation?

So far... GONZO has done a good job with the first episode. Considering its a 5 episode OVA I'm going to assume that they can't 'screw' it up (especially if they use all the budgets for each episode). I predict it won't waver much considering the amount of publicity its going to get.


Availability?

GDH had claimed it Telecasts on Cable Network SPIKE on January 4th, 2007
(Not sure if that’s changed, but a copy has already been released online. Probably safer to check with Funimation)

Now don’t fret... if you absolutely hate Samuel L. Jackson and the English cast or 'style', there’s a chance when it is released in Japan that it will come with a Japanese audio track.
