Paradoxically it was the BBC Programme Contracts Department that called them a 'circus'; they themselves were still undecided, tossing around titles like 'A Horse, A Spoon and a Basin', or 'Owl Stretching Time' or 'Bum, Whack, It, Buzzard, Stubble and Boot'.
